Constellation

The Constellation is the central structure in Noeko that connects all your individual pieces of knowledge, represented as Ideas and Nodes. It provides a visual representation of how your thoughts and concepts are related.

In Noeko, the Constellation is a dynamic network where each Idea you create becomes a node, and the links you establish between Ideas form the connections (edges) in the graph. This structure allows you to see the relationships between different pieces of information at a glance.

Edges represent the relationships or connections between Nodes in the Constellation. When you link two Ideas, you are creating an edge between their corresponding nodes. These connections are crucial for understanding the context and relationships within your knowledge base.

The Constellation serves several key purposes in Noeko:

  • Visualization: Provides a clear visual overview of your entire knowledge base and the connections within it.
  • Discovery: Helps you discover relationships between seemingly unrelated Ideas, fostering new insights.
  • Navigation: Allows you to navigate your knowledge by following connections between Ideas.
  • Context: Shows the context of any given Idea by displaying its connections to other parts of your knowledge.

The Constellation is built upon Ideas and Nodes. Every Idea you create becomes a node in the graph. When you link two Ideas, you are creating an edge between two nodes in the graph. The graph visualization dynamically updates as you add Ideas and create or modify links.

You can interact with your Constellation in several ways:

  • Visualization: Explore the visual representation of your connected Ideas.
  • Navigation: Click on nodes to navigate to the corresponding Idea pages.
  • Linking: Create and manage connections between Ideas, which updates the graph.
  • Filtering: (If applicable) Filter the graph to view specific subsets of your knowledge.
